Work started on 6-meter turbines for the POWER Project

Big milestone achieved! 🚀After months of intensive preparation, we’ve officially started work on the 6-meter turbines for the POWER project.

We kicked off with a test assembly of the substructure (base frame), followed by rotor and nacelle installation. This dry run is crucial: it allows us to fine-tune the fit and functionality before moving forward with 10 full prototype turbines. The prototypes will first be tested at HTC before being deployed at their land- and water-based locations. We’re excited to share some behind-the-scenes photos of our progress!

This marks the beginning of a series of assemblies, bringing us closer to demonstrating the advantages of tilted wind turbines in a small wind farm.
