Mighty ideas.
Mighty teams.

TouchWind is a small sized company with a large idea. We’re good at idea’s, but we’re not a production industry nor intent so.

For that reason we collaborate with other organisations, who are dedicated to give our ideas what they deserve.

Meet the team

With approx. 17.000 employees, VDL Groep has an impressive trackrecord in production and development of industrial products. VDL’s subsidiary VDL Mast Solutions, has extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering of constructions of up to 150m in height.
We4Ce is a world leading specialist in wind turbine rotor blade aerodynamics and development. More than 20,000 turbines world wide rely on We4Ce technology and expertise.

And if this is not impressive enough, We4Ce currently develops a 12-14MW rotor blade with a 222 meter diameter.

Delft University of Technology – Aerospace Engineering has a strong international research and publication record regarding aerodynamic behavior and wind turbine rotor stability. For better understanding of TouchWind’s rotor, extensive research including wind tunnel experiments is planned.
Nidec is a manufacturer of electric motors, generators and frequency drives. It’s mother company, the Japanese Nidec Corporation, consolidates over 100.000 employees, developing and producing billions of products per year for multiple industries with a focus on a green environment.
TouchWind is open for expanding its collaborations, specifically in the area of offshore operations, maintenance and anchoring.

Feel free to contact us for an open orientation.

Maritime Research Institute Netherlands is an independent maritime research specialist. It is devoted to perform studies (numerical and model basin), to optimize TouchWind’s floater for advancing the turbine’s hydrodynamic stability.
TouchWind. That’s us.

We provide fundamental background knowledge and project management for the technological development of the turbine. Commercially, we coordinate the initiation of the production facilities and supply chain.
